NLRC Safety and Security Officers-Designate Undergo Disaster Preparedness and First Aid Training

     Officials and Employees of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), who were designated as Safety and Security Officers, underwent an intensive First Aid Simulation during their two-day Training on Disaster and Emergency Preparedness and Response held on June 20-21, 2017 at the NLRC Conference Room, Banawe, Quezon City.

      The activities and exercises on First Aid were facilitated and led by the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (QCDRRMO) Team whose specific functions are to respond to situations brought about by natural or human-induced disaster.

       In addition to First Aid Training, the Team also conducted lectures on Disaster Preparedness, Basic Incident Command System, Basic Life Support, Bandaging Technique and Lifting and Moving of Casualties to NLRC participants.

     As preparation for any disaster that might occur, the NLRC, led by Chairman Gerardo C. Nograles, regularly undertakes various efforts to conduct and provide timely and effective seminars and trainings in order to equip all its officials and employees the necessary knowledge and skills in different fields.
