NLRC designates new pool of hearing officers for fact-finding committees

In an Administrative Order No. 05-01, Series of 2013, Chairman Gerardo C. Nograles designates new sets of hearing officers for the existing NLRC fact-finding committees.

The pool of hearing officers are divided into two (2) groups, one for the Board of Inquiry (BOI) who will investigate or hear administrative cases of complaints lodged against Presidential appointees such as Commissioner and Labor Arbiter. The other for the Administrative Complaints Committee (ACC) who will investigate or hear administrative cases of complaints lodged against rank-and-file employees.

For the first group, the newly appointed Labor Arbiters Daytia, De Quiroz, Enriquez, Gayaman, Carreon, Villanueva, Ylagan, Ventura and Samar will be the hearing officers of the Board of Inquiry (BOI). And for the second group, Labor Arbiters Clemente, Calma, Nicolas, Alforte-Ganancial, Paez-Collantes, Carag-Cruz, Lucero-De Grano and San Gaspar will be the hearing officers of the Administrative Complaints Committee (ACC).

The designation of the new set of hearing officers was made to strengthen the integrity in the system and to eliminate the perception of corruption, as part of the reform on labor arbitration and adjudication.
