Welder won for illegal dismissal at NLRC-NCR Arbitration Branch

       In a Decision on December 2012, an NCR Labor Arbiter ruled in favor of the maintenance welder against the South Central Construction for illegal dismissal.

       The complainant, Jeremias P. Rante, filed a complaint for illegal dismissal with claim for payment of separation pay against the company.

NLRC dialogue with Association of Genuine Labor Organizations (AGLO) successful

The NLRC, represented by the Chairman, Commissioners, Labor Arbiters and Staff, conducted a dialogue with the Association of Genuine Labor Organizations (AGLO) last June 3, 2013.

The dialogue primarily focused on the execution of judgment. The AGLO admitted that the NLRC now was resolving the cases faster and further suggest to closely monitor the process of execution.

NLRC conducts seminar on execution of judgment for Luzon Sheriffs

The NLRC conducted a Seminar on Execution of Judgment for Sheriffs and Acting Sheriffs (Luzon) last May 29-31, 2013 at KLIR Waterpark Resort, Kabilang Bakood, Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

The seminar focuses on the procedures of execution of judgment, values enhancement, work ethics, role of sheriffs, and other administrative and reporting requirements.

          The complainant, Jesus Apuan, filed a complaint for illegal dismissal with claims for backwages and reinstatement/separation pay and damages against the company.

          In a Decision on January 29, 2013, an NCR Labor Arbiter ruled in favor of the dental technician against Pandora Dental Equipment Corp. for illegal dismissal.

          The complainant, Mr. Jesus Bareng, filed a complaint for illegal dismissal with prayer for payment of backwages, underpayment of overtime, and other benefits against the company.

           The complainants, Casakit and Odina, filed a complaint for illegal dismissal with prayer for reinstatement and payment of backwages and other benefits against the company.

           The complainant filed a complaint for illegal dismissal against the company.

          In a four separate decisions on January 2013, an NCR Labor Arbiter ruled in favor of the security guards against the Maxim Security Agency, Lambdan Security Agency, 3rdAlert Security and Detective Services, Inc. and Armijoy Security Agency.

NLRC-NCR Labor Arbiter finds garment sewer and dressmaker regular employee

          In a Decision dated 28 January 2013, an NCR Labor Arbiter ruled that a garment sewer and dressmaker of Metromed Enterprises Co. is a regular employee.

          The company claims that all of their employees are project based employees designated to a particular project and whose employment is co-terminus with the completion of the said project.
